Boone Speedway hosts April 6 IMCA Frostbuster show
BOONE, Iowa (March 29) – The first green flag of the season flies next Saturday at Iowa’s Action Track, when Boone Speedway rolls out the red carpet for night four of the IMCA Frostbuster Week.
Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds race for $1,000, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars for $750 and both Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $500 to win on April 6 at Boone, where pit gates will open at 2 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 3 p.m. Hot laps are at 4 p.m. and racing is at 5 p.m.
Spectator admission is $20 for adults, $10 for students 13-17 and 12 and under get in free. Pit passes are $35.

Other Frostbuster dates are April 3 at Independence Motor Speedway, April 4 at Stuart Speedway, April 5 at Marshalltown Speedway and April 7 at Benton County Speedway in Vinton.
Frostbuster champions earn the biggest share of $1,000 point funds and will be eligible for race of champions events at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Each Modified and Stock Car feature winner becomes eligible to qualify for their respective All-Star Invitationals.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing national, Razor Chassis North Central, EQ Cylinder Heads Northern and B & B Racing Chassis Northern region, and Iowa state points will be awarded each night.
Open practice sessions will be held April 2 at both Independence and Marshalltown.
IMCA.TV broadcasts the Independence, Stuart, Boone and Benton County Frostbusters.
The weekly racing point season at Boone begins April 13.
